Q: I want to order a new Hart rifle! How soon will I get it?

A: We DO NOT quote time frames! ‘General’ build time is 6-8 months. This can vary widely however due to Stock selection. McMillan Stocks take roughly 6 months alone! Other factors such as parts delivery and shop work load also play a role in the time frame. We take pride and care in every Hart rifle and we will NEVER rush a job!

Q: I am sending in or dropping off a rifle for some work to be performed. How soon can I expect it to be completed?

A: We DO NOT quote time frames! ‘General’ work time is 2-3 weeks for accuracy packages and muzzlebrakes. Other work may take significantly longer depending on the work to be completed. We will NEVER rush a job!

Q: I want to send in a rifle for some work. How and where do I send it?

A: We recommend shipping via UPS, in a padded ‘hard’ case, wrapped with cardboard. We highly recommend insuring the package for whatever you feel it would cost you to replace. Our mailing address and directions are on the Contact Page.

Q: I sent in a rifle or dropped it off. Can someone else (other than the one who dropped it off ) pick up the rifle?

A: Under laws of the A.T.F. (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms), the person who’s name the gun was ‘signed in’ under MUST be the person who picks it up!

Q: The only day I can get to your shop is on a Saturday and I need to speak to a gunsmith while I am there. Are you open on Saturday with a gunsmith available?

A: Saturday hours are hit and miss due to shows and employee availability. If we are open it will be from 9am to noon EST. Having a gunsmith available during these hours is also hit and miss. The best course of action is to call Friday afternoon and inquire on the Saturday hours and availability of personnel.
